أما الملائكة: فهم خلق من خلق الله أيضًا ولكن خلق عظيم، خُلقوا من نور، مجبولون على الخير، مطيعون لأوامر الله سبحانه مسبحون عابدون لا يسأمون ولا يفترون.
As for the angels, they are great creatures of Allah. They were created from light and have a natural disposition to goodness. They obey the commands of Allah Almighty, exalt Him, and worship Him without ever getting bored or tired.
"يُسَبِّحُونَ اللَّيْلَ وَالنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ"[76] . (الأنبياء: 20).
{They glorify Him day and night tirelessly.} [76] Surat al-Anbiyā’: 20.
"...لَّا يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ "[77]. (التحريم :6).
{...who never disobey whatever Allah commands and do whatever they are commanded.} [77] Surat at-Tahrīm: 6.
والإيمان بهم مشترك بين المسلمين واليهود والنصارى، ومنهم جبريل الذي خصه الله بالوساطة بينه وبين رسله، فكان ينزل بالوحي إليهم، وميكائيل، ومهمته هي المطر والنبات، وإسرافيل، ومهمته هي النفخ في الصور يوم القيامة، وغيرهم.
Having faith in the angels is something common between the Muslims, Jews, and Christians. Jibrīl (Gabriel) is one of the angels whom Allah has taken as a mediator between Him and His messengers, so he used to descend with the revelation to them. There is also Mikā’īl (Michael) who is in charge of the rain and plants, Isrāfīl whose mission is to blow the trumpet on the Day of Judgment, and others.
أما الجن: فهو عالم من عالم الغيب، يعيشون معنا في هذه الأرض، وهم مكلفون بطاعة الله، ونُهوا عن معصيته، مثل الإنس، لكننا لا نراهم، وقد خُلقوا من نار، وخُلق الإنسان من طين. وذكر الله قصصًا تُبين مدى قوة الجن وقدرتهم، من ذلك قدرتهم على التأثير بالوسوسة أو الإيحاء دون تدخل مادي، لكنهم لا يعلمون الغيب ولا يقدرون على إيذاء المؤمن القوي الإيمان.
As for the jinn, they belong to the world of the unseen. They live with us on earth and are commanded to obey Allah and prohibited from disobeying Him, just like the human beings; however, we cannot see them. They were created from fire, whereas man was created from clay. Allah mentioned stories that clarify the strength and ability of the jinn, including their ability to make an influence through whispering or inspiration without physical interference. However, they do not know the unseen and cannot harm the believer who have strong faith.
"... وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَىٰ أَوْلِيَائِهِمْ لِيُجَادِلُوكُمْ ..."[78] . (الأنعام :121).
{...But the devils whisper to their [human] friends to argue with you...} [78] Surat al-An‘ām: 121.
والشيطان: هو كل عاتٍ متمرد سواء من الإنس أو الجن.
As for the devil, he is every arrogant and obstinate human or jinni.
إن شواهد الوجود والظواهر تشير جميعها إلى أن هناك دومًا إعادة للبناء والخلق في الحياة. والأمثلة كثيرة، كإحياء الأرض بعد موتها بالمطر وغيرها.
All proofs from the universe and phenomena indicate the fact that there is a constant process of reconstruction and recreation in life. There are many examples of this including the revival of earth after its death with rain.
قال الله تعالى:
Allah Almighty said:
" يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَيُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتَ مِنَ الْحَيِّ وَيُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا وَكَذَٰلِكَ تُخْرَجُونَ"[79]. (الروم: 19).
{He brings the living out of the dead and the dead out of the living, and gives life to the earth after its death. This is how you will be brought forth.} [79] Surat ar-Rūm: 19.
وأيضًا الدليل الآخر على البعث هو النظام المحكم للكون الذي ليس فيه خلل، حتى الالكترون متناهي الصغر لا يستطيع أن يتنقل من فلك إلى فلك آخر في الذرة إلا إذا أعطى أو أخذ مقدارًا من الطاقة يساوي حركته، فكيف تتصور في هذا النظام أن يهرب القاتل أو يفر الظالم بدون حساب أو عقاب من رب العالمين.
Another evidence on resurrection is the perfect system of the universe that is flawless, even the extremely minute electron cannot move from one orbit to another inside the atom unless it gives or takes an amount of energy that is equal to its movement. So, how could you believe that in such a system the murderer or the oppressor could escape without being reckoned or punished by the Lord of the worlds?!
قال الله تعالى:
Allah Almighty said:
"أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ (١١٥) فَتَعَالَى اللَّـهُ الْمَلِكُ الْحَقُّ ۖ لَا إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ "[80]. (المؤمنون: 115-116).
{Did you think that We created you with no purpose, and that you would not be brought back to Us? Exalted is Allah, the True Sovereign! None has the right to be worshiped except Him, the Lord of the Honorable Throne.} [80] Surat al-Mu’minūn: 115-116.
" أَمْ حَسِبَ الَّذِينَ اجْتَرَحُوا السَّيِّئَاتِ أَن نَّجْعَلَهُمْ كَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَوَاءً مَّحْيَاهُمْ وَمَمَاتُهُمْ ۚ سَاءَ مَا يَحْكُمُونَ (٢١) وَخَلَقَ اللَّـهُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِالْحَقِّ وَلِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ "[81]. (الجاثية: 21-22).
{Do those who commit evil deeds think that We will make them equal to those who believe and do righteous deeds, in this life and after their death? How poorly they judge! Allah created the heavens and earth for a true purpose, and so that every soul may be recompensed for what it has earned, and they will not be wronged.} [81] Surat al-Jāthiyah: 21-22.
ألا نلاحظ أننا في هذه الحياة نفقد كثيرًا من أقاربنا ومن أصدقائنا ونعلم أننا سوف نموت مثلهم يومًا ما، لكننا نشعر في قرارة أنفسنا أننا سوف نعيش إلى الأبد. لو كان جسم الإنسان مادي ضمن إطار حياة مادية ضمن القوانين المادية بلا روح تُبعث وتُحاسب، لما كان هناك معنى لهذا الشعور الفطري بالحرية، الروح تعلو على الزمن وتتخطى الموت.
Do you not notice that we lose many of our relatives and friends in this life and we know that we shall die like them one day; yet deep down we feel that we shall live forever. If man's body had been made up of matter within the framework of a material life and material laws without a soul to be resurrected and reckoned, this natural feeling of freedom would have been meaningless, as the soul rises above time and goes beyond death.
يحيي الله الموتى كما خلقهم أول مرة.
Allah brings the dead to life just as He created them the first time.
قال تعالى:
Allah Almighty said:
" يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِن كُنتُمْ فِي رَيْبٍ مِّنَ الْبَعْثِ فَإِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن تُرَابٍ ثُمَّ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ ثُمَّ مِنْ عَلَقَةٍ ثُمَّ مِن مُّضْغَةٍ مُّخَلَّقَةٍ وَغَيْرِ مُخَلَّقَةٍ لِّنُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ وَنُقِرُّ فِي الْأَرْحَامِ مَا نَشَاءُ إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ثُمَّ نُخْرِجُكُمْ طِفْلًا ثُمَّ لِتَبْلُغُوا أَشُدَّكُمْ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُتَوَفَّىٰ وَمِنكُم مَّن يُرَدُّ إِلَىٰ أَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ لِكَيْلَا يَعْلَمَ مِن بَعْدِ عِلْمٍ شَيْئًا وَتَرَى الْأَرْضَ هَامِدَةً فَإِذَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْهَا الْمَاءَ اهْتَزَّتْ وَرَبَتْ وَأَنبَتَتْ مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ بَهِيجٍ"[82]. (الحج: 5).
{O people, if you are in doubt concerning the Resurrection, then We surely created you from dust, then from a drop of sperm, then from a clot, then from a lump of flesh – formed or unformed – so that We may make it clear to you [Our power]. We settle in the wombs whatever We will for an appointed term. Then We bring you out as infants, then [We nurture you] so that you may reach your maturity. Then some of you die, while others are left to reach the decrepit old age so that they may know nothing after having knowledge. You see the land lifeless, then as soon as We send down rain on it, it stirs and swells to life and brings forth every type of pleasant plant.} [82] Surat al-Hajj: 5.
" أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الإنسان أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ (٧٧) وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ قَالَ مَن يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ (٧٨) قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا الَّذِي أَنشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ "[83]. (يس: 77-79).
{Does man not see that We have created him from a sperm drop, then he becomes a clear adversary, producing arguments against Us while forgetting his own creation. He says, “Who can give life to the bones after they have crumbled to dust?” Say, “The One Who created them in the first place will give life to them, for He has full knowledge of every created being.} [83] Surat Ya-sīn: 77-79.
"فَانظُرْ إِلَىٰ آثَارِ رَحْمَتِ اللَّـهِ كَيْفَ يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمُحْيِي الْمَوْتَىٰ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ"[84]. (الروم:50).
{See then the effects of Allah’s mercy, how He revives the earth after its death. Indeed, it is He Who will raise the dead, and He is Most Capable of all things.} [84] Surat ar-Rūm: 50.
